Camp Starlight

Children and young adults living with dyslexia should attend Camp Starlight, a wonderful and unique opportunity that is a collaboration between YMCA Mystic Lake Camp and the Michigan Dyslexia Institute. In addition to traditional camp activities, each day campers attend a variety of educational sessions on topics like building self-esteem, understanding dyslexia, study and organizational skills, communicating with teachers, and famous people living with dyslexia. They gain a better understanding of their lives, interact with positive role models, and build important social skills, all while having the time of their lives!
