Wrangler Camp
(Ages: 10 – 14) Wrangler camp includes Western riding, an overnight campout and traditional camp activities. After a skill assessment, Wranglers are divided into riding groups. Practice in the ring, trail rides, instruction on horse care, grooming, anatomy and tack help campers improve their horsemanship skills. Wranglers receive excellent training, assume responsibilities and do their share of the barn chores. Wrangler campers also join main camp for activities such as swimming, archery and arts & crafts.
Ranch Camp
Ages: (14 – 16) Ranch Camp is a different way of camp life. Ranch facilities are rustic cabins, a campfire circle and privies, located within a short hike of main camp. Ranch campers live simply, needing only the clothes on their backs and their horses. They spend as much time as they choose riding. They join main camp for lunch and dinner, afternoon free time and occasionally participate in the main camp evening program. Breakfast is prepared by the Ranch Campers and their counselors. Ranch campers must demonstrate advanced riding skills with at least two years of riding experience.
