Mini Camp
(Ages: 6 – 14) This four day camp includes all the traditional camp activities like boating, swimming, hiking, crafts, and archery. Wednesday check out is at 2:00pm. There is no return bus service available for this program.

Crossroads Challenge Camp & Technical Tree Climbing
(Ages: 11 – 14) Ascend to the heights of our tall trees, work as a team to traverse the oak canopy, and feel triumph as you overcome personal challenges. Learn safe tree climbing techniques used by professionals, know how to tie proper knots and develop team skills. The first day is spent on the low and high ropes courses to prepare, then spend the rest of the week exploring the forest canopy.

Gone Fishing
(Ages: 11 – 13) You’ll fish for pike, bass and pan fish, take a half-day charter on Lake Michigan to hook giant salmon, steelhead and lake trout, and compete in our bass tournament on Mystic Lake! Bring your tackle, we’ll supply bait and instruction. Campers also enjoy traditional activities. Space is limited, register early.

Drama Camp
(Ages: 12 – 14) Campers with creativity and imagination who want to try acting will love Drama Camp. Work on a skit, design costumes and sets and explore different forms of acting. Campers also participate in traditional camp activities.

Discovery Adventure Camp
(Ages: 12 – 14) This two week program is for campers looking for adventure. The first week of camp is spent participating in the Mystic Experience. The second week begins with a weekend adventure trip to a Michigan State Park to learn the basics of tent camping and explore the natural beauty of the Lake Michigan shoreline. Other Week 2 adventures include a high ropes experience, an afternoon of technical tree climbing, a day trip to Michigan’s Adventure Water and Amusement Park, a tubing trip down the Muskegon River and a horse trail ride. To wrap up this week, there is a very special Friday program.

Trek and Trail
(Ages: 11- 16) Mountain biking offers a fun and unique way to explore the Mystic Lake Outback. Feel the excitement as you cruise down a forest path and race over trails to your next destination. Components of the program include learning bike maintenance, improving riding ability and technical skill, as well as all safety considerations of the sport. We will also be taking a day trip to a state park for an added bit of adventure. This program is meant for those who are comfortable spending a portion of each day on a bike doing vigorous activity riding as many as 20 miles in one day. All equipment provided thanks to a grant from the DALMAC Foundation.

Challenger British Soccer Camp
The number 1 soccer camp in the USA and Canada is back at Mystic Lake this summer Challenger has become the best camp in North America by combining consistently high quality, age specific soccer instruction, along with equally important elements of character, cultural, and nutritional education Campers will participate each day in the ever popular World Cup. Each player receives a FREE soccer ball, t-shirt, and camp evaluation Campers will spend 3 hours each day M-F in Soccer Camp and the remainder of the time in traditional camp activities.

New! Sailing Camp
(Ages 11-14) Under the leadership of experienced sailing instructors and Mystic Lake Camp counselors, campers will spend a portion of each day learning the basics of sailing. It is a great way to experience the beauty of Mystic Lake while learning a lifelong skill! Instruction to include rigging, sailing and maintaining your own sailboat. Campers will participate in traditional camp activities also.
